A Water Park for Every Age 💦
Of course, the main event for the kids—and honestly, for us too—was the resort’s incredible Tidal Cove Water Park. This place is a dream for families. With slides of every size, there’s something for everyone: gentle mini-slides for toddlers, thrilling high-speed slides for older kids and adults, a wave rider for the adventurous, and a winding lazy river for those who just want to float and relax. What stood out most to us as parents was the clear emphasis on safety. Lifeguards were present at every turn, and they actively ensured that children only used the attractions suitable for their height and age. That peace of mind made it easy to fully enjoy the day for us adults too!
Tee Time in Paradise ⛳
While the kids were all about the water slides, golf lovers will be thrilled to know that Turnberry is also home to two championship-level 18-hole golf courses. Designed with lush fairways, water features, and scenic landscaping, the courses are as beautiful as they are fun to play. Whether you're sneaking in a solo round or booking a tee time with friends, it’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors in a setting that feels both refined and relaxed. Even if you’re not playing, the golf course adds to the peaceful vibe of the resort—it's everywhere you look, and it really enhances the feeling of being on a true retreat.
Dining with a View 🍽
One of our favorite parts of the weekend was dining at Corsair, the resort’s signature restaurant. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the setting was just as impressive. We chose to sit outside on the terrace, which feels like it spills right onto the golf course. With panoramic views of the perfectly manicured greens and the soft rustle of palm trees all around, it was the kind of setting that invites you to slow down and savor every bite. Whether it was a relaxed breakfast in the morning sun or a glass of wine as the light faded in the evening, Corsair offered a dining experience that felt both refined and relaxed.
